Simple care helps preserve the finish and detail of your KINLORE personalised jewellery.

Everyday care

• Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
• Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, creams, cleaning products, chlorine and salt water.
• Put your jewellery on after cosmetics and fragrances have dried.
• Do not pull the chain or wear the piece during activities that may cause impact or snagging.

Cleaning your jewellery

After wear, gently wipe the pendant and chain with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, jewellery dips, toothpaste or chemical cleaners, as these can damage plated finishes and engraved detail.

Storing your jewellery

Store each piece separately in a dry place, ideally inside its KINLORE packaging. Keeping jewellery away from moisture, direct sunlight and other pieces helps reduce scratches, tangling and tarnishing.

Gold-plated jewellery

Gold plating naturally changes over time through wear, friction, moisture and contact with chemicals. Following the care instructions above will help preserve the finish for longer. Gradual plating wear is normal and is not a manufacturing defect.

Sterling silver jewellery

Sterling silver may naturally tarnish when exposed to air, moisture and cosmetics. Gently wipe it with a suitable soft silver cloth, taking care around the engraved surface. Tarnishing is a natural characteristic of silver rather than a manufacturing fault.

Your photo engraving

Photo engraving is formed from fine engraved lines rather than printed colour. Its appearance can change depending on the angle and lighting. Keep the engraved surface away from abrasive materials to protect the detail.
